I used to btich about Quebec's high taxes. I don't give a fuck anymore, now knowing how fortunate I am that I can go to a hospital and not get thrown in a taxi and dumped on a street because I couldn't afford the treatment necessary. I find it so sad. America has go to do something!!!

well most European countries is better i'm from Denmark and here all healthcare is free to. US should be more Socialistic and i think it would be a benefit for more then just healthcare. I think crime would go down to due to that many people would not need to steel just to pay for medice or food or rent or whatever it is. just happy i don't live in the US

Start asking questions!

Americans do little more then sit on their asses and stare at the TV. We need to EDUCATE ourselves on the issues and take a lesson from the 60's and get out and protest! call congress, call your local representatives!

I saw Sicko earlier of this year, and I can tell you...sadly.

The Netherlands is getting close to the healthcare in the US. Wich is an outrage. Our healthcare was good....and the last few governments are screwing it up BIG TIME. Next year, 2009, if people are not able to pay for their healthcare, they will not have it, and then if they get sick....they get really sick, because they have to pay everything themselves.....sighhh

sadly the usa healthcare will never be fixed because they have no political democracy due to only having two choices and the race can only be run by the wealthy, not the best candidate, anyone can become an Member of Parliament in the UK based on the person not how much money they have for their campaign. By paying the equivalent of $100 or more a month through taxes is only the same as paying a premium and you get it for life with the same quality of care for everyone
