  • omg the breathing. nice playing but wow

  • great ya need new strings.

  • Very nice man!

  • beltin tune, reminiscent of jansch himself. Could fit right onto the 'Jack Orion' album

    Nice one fella

  • Celtic music is very rhythmic as you say but a different rhythm to what I was trying to refer to. What I really meant to say was that I preferred the DADGAD sound using a syncopated blues or ragtime style rhythm than celtic. I happily take your point.

  • what about the celtic style isn't "rhythmic"

have you ever listened to the Lunasa

    album Merry Sisters of Fate?

  • watch?v=_QQN-eQTa24

they've a lot more bluesy stuff I suspect is also dadgad

  • sounds like the incredible string band

  • A man after my own heart. I like it when someone plays in this tuning and doesn't play celtic style but more rhythmic with blues influenced sounds. Personally I like using DADGAD for this more than anything else but maybe that is just the sound I prefer and suits my style better.

  • you're good!!!
