This song was banned by Radio 1 as a result of the tragic Hillsborough Stadium disaster. They thought the lyrics were too close to the bone during this terrible time. We were gutted but couldn't blame them. Unfortunately for us that finished the song commercially. As a result, this was the only tv show performance of Gatecrashing.

  • @saveferris090 Tinsel lovers in Diesel town.

  • I love this song, I was a big Living In a Box fan back in the day and I still have the vinyl of their singles, I think the BBC have a lot to answer for, for commercially destroying this classic tune. Thanks for sharing the only tv performance its great to see the guys in action. :)

  • what the hell are those backup singers saying in the chorus??

haha i can't figure it out...

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!!! Especially the extended single version!!

  • Very cool band! Always enjoyed living in a Box's talent! Did they ever do a music video for "Can't stop the wheel?" Does anyone have that song? Can anyone post it?

  • You're the wanker.

  • Great band, great song and handsome guy:)

  • Oh really? Well you might want to read about how Richard distracted an intruder who was attacking Sonia, in his home in March (during the day), even though it meant the attacker turned the knife on him instead. He had severe cuts to his hand/arm and needs surgery. I'd say he's a hero. On top of that if you check their website (the forum is where I saw this frightening news), you'll find that all three band members are very talented and still active in the arts.
