http://spywarepreventionguy.com First off, MyCleanPC is a borderline scam! Don't even try it! As an experienced PC tech performing computer maintenance in Hawaii on a daily basis, I routinely remove viruses and malware from home and business computers. If you ask me, it seems that the problem is virtually epidemic with about 7-8 out of 10 computers we check-in for repair being infected. My point is that since are in the business of removing malware professionally, we know what works and what doesn't, so what is up with MyCleanPC.com?

MyCleanPC.com is basically a landing page to direct people to their real product which is called CyberDefender. One thing I can say for sure is that we would never use software such as CyberDefender to disinfect a PC, so why would you? In fact, customers often pay us to remove CyberDefender products because of the deceptive annoyances this software employs, much like what you would find in a rogue or fake antivirus program. While CyberDefender is not an outright fake product and works to some degree, it is in no way a serious contender in the malware removal and registry cleaning software business. So how can I make this bold claim and still sleep at night?

By the way, for those of you who want to slam me for using AVG in this video, this is only 1 of 20 some odd computers I own and use, a few them with other AVs, but mostly I use ESET Nod32. So get a life, I know my computer is clean of infections just the same.

  • how do you unistall this

  • @ninom97 Use the link at the bottom of the "description" under the video. It will give you a few options on how to remove MyCleanPC (aka CyberDefender).

  • I notice you have mcaafe anti virus delete it, microsoft essentail is better

  • @sasuke1018 The only product I use from McAfee is Site Advisor (which McAfee bought out). I have 1 PC running Microsoft Security Essentials, another AVG, but most of them run ESET Nod32. I occasionally test other AV products to do my own rough comparisons. Next, I will be trying BitDefefender and Vipre. But I always seem to come back to ESET Nod32. I primarily use paid products because I have seen the difference it makes on my customer's computers everyday. I say get ESET Nod32!

  • Please read between the lines, MyCleanPC is a borderline SCAM!!! I do not, have not, and never will recommend MyCleanPC or anyother CyberDefender product! Now Norton is a reputable company, but I have been known to call them the McDonald's of antivirus and I don't use them either, but for different reasons. I happily use and recommend ESET Nod32 Antivirus. You can start with a free 30 day trial at the website listed in the description for this video.

  • @snappy151 it is a virus. my husband is a computer technician and his sister downloaded it and it messed up her network. if your AV has not flagged it yet then you have a the most poor of all AV's. my husband recommends that you do this delete the software and download malwarebytes update it and put your computer is safe mode the start a full system scan with it..you will see what your AV missed..
