Let's take a look
Back before we lost the passion
Back before the fight
Before we ever started the clashing
Before this awful stain in my brain
Before argument reigned and drove us insane
The rain of harsh words
That you bestowed upon me
Back before the words that come from your mouth
Began to haunt me
Then maybe this faint light of a match
Will spark fireworks domino effect
To light our ways back to each other
For just enough time for us to realize
We were meant for each other.
