Dean Young Bay Area Benefit Reading

W. S. Di Piero, Robert Hass, and Dora Malech read on June 23, 2011 as part of an event to help offset the financial costs of poet Dean Young's recent heart transplant. ZYZZYVA and the Squaw Valley Community of Writers hosted the reading in conjunction with the National Foundation for Transplants in the Maude Fife Room in Wheeler Hall at the University of California, Berkeley.

Also featured at the event were Octavio Solis, Brenda Hillman, D. A. Powell, Troy Jollimore, Michael Wiegers, David Breskin, and Joseph Di Prisco.
