Explore Devil's Den Preserve with Steve Patton, preserve director. Comprising 1,756 acres in Weston and Redding, Devil's Den is The Nature Conservancy's largest contiguous preserve in Connecticut and the largest tract of protected land in densely developed Fairfield County. User-friendly trails lead visitors along forested ridges and along valley streams, and an old mill pond serves as one of the most popular spots.

  • See that snake? That's right New Yorkers, keep the fuck out.

  • It is a wonderful place, although I have not been there since the early nineties, due living in another part of the country, I vividly recall the resonance of the flowing streams and the footbridges. In fact, during one of my later visits, I hiked into the preserve for about two hours and lost my sense of direction due to a blizzard. Unfazed, I enjoyed the sound of the innumerable amount of snowflakes and the serenity. Eventually, I was 3 miles NE from the entrance when I reached a road

  • Looking forward to visiting soon!
