A couple suggestions for guitarists/bands he should have on the Crossroads are Eric Johnson, Eric Gales(too many Eric's, lol), Seasick Steve, Moreland and Arbuckle. Even Joe Satriani could be cool to see at the Crossroads festival, if he plays some of his more blues style songs.

@guitarthroat Blues 'purists' are talking pure crap if they do-this man is as authentic a bluesman as anyone, he has certainly devoted a lot of his life to performing and perfecting the form..to hell with blues purists!

You know, a lot of "blues purists" bash Clapton for being a blues pretender. But, love him or hate him, he has written some of the best original Rock and Blues Rock I've ever heard in my life. His music has stood the test of time because it's so good. He may have never written tons of original blues, but he's found his own voice by using traditional blues as a vehicle. Glad he's still here playing for us.
