Demi's POV

My first day of freshmen year was the day I fell in love. His name is Joe. Of course now 2 years has passed so i'm in 11th grade. Today is the first day of school. I wrote a letter to Joe telling him how I felt and today I swore I was gonna give it to him. My two best friends Sara and Jen gave me a push toward him, and I raised my arm to give it to him. "I don't want it." He said to me walking away. I heard giggles as some girls passed by. How could he? Tears came to my eyes but I held them back. I ran to Sara and Jen as they hugged me. My other best friend Nick came running to me asking why I was crying, and I told him. [a/n- Nick and Joe aren't brothers in this story.] Nick went up to Joe and asked why he would do something so cruel, and Joe just ignored him. I ran to Nick telling it was okay. That day I went home early.
END OF POV

[That Night]

Demi's Dad: So sweetie, how's the new house? Nice huh?
Demi: -smiles- It's way better than that old apartment we use to live in!
-Doorbell rings-
Demi: -Answers it- Oh hey guys! What are all of you doing here!
Sara: We brag housewarming gifts for your new house! -holds up cake-
Demi: Awesome! Come into the kitchen my dad and I were having dinner.
-They come in-
DD: Oh it's you guys! Welcome!
Jen: Thanks for letting us come by unexpectedly.
DD: No problem! Come sit!
Nick: -Madly sits down-
Demi: Nick are you okay?
Nick: Im still pissed that Joe would do that!
Demi: Im fine! I completely got over it!
DD: What happened?
All of the kids: Nothing.
DD: Okay...

-The Next Day-
Demi: -Walking to school and trips- Ouch!
Joe: -Sees- Need some help?
Demi: Ye- -notices it's Joe- No. I don't need your help. -gets up-
Joe: Fine. -Walks away-

-After School-
Demi: IM HOME! -Walks to her room-
DD: Wait a second! We need to talk.
Demi: Okay, what is it?
DD: Sweetie, we have to move again.
Demi: What!? Why!?
DD: It doesn't matter, we just have to. It's okay though because my high school friend offered we stay at his house.
Demi: But I don't want to freeload.
DD: It's okay, he offered himself that we stayed there.
Demi: Fine, when do we leave?
DD: We have a week to pack and leave.
Demi: That soon?

-A Week Later-
DD: Oh Demi, it'll be fine! He has a son your age and you two even go to the same school!
Demi: -Sarcastic- GREAT! -Looks at the house and it is gigantic-
DD: -Knocks on the door-
Tom: Oh! Jeremy! [A/N: Jeremy is Demi's dad and Tom Is the old friend.] Great to see you again!
DD: How many years has it been!
Tom: Many! Oh is this your daughter! How wonderful! Come in! Come in!
Demi: -Walks in to see Joe there and her eyes get a bit wider-
