Sarah and my trip to Montana to mine Sapphires. We visited Gem Mountain just outside of Philipsburg and had a great time. Looking forward to returning

  • It was around $200 for 7 one gallon buckets when we were there. Google Gem Mountain and their prices were on the site. There was no charge to keep anything found, but there is if you want anything heat treated or cut. We had some heat treated, but I cut myself.

  • No further charge to keep the stones! Been there myself. I got some rare pink sapphires from there!!! It's worth the trip.

  • That looks like a good day out.

Can I ask how much it costs to go and dig? and is there a further charge to keep the stones?
