Aengus Ó Snodaigh TD speaks at an Irish Palestine Solidarity Campaign (IPSC) demonstration on O'Connell street following recent events in Palestine where the Free Gaza boat and it's crew were taken hostage by the Israeli army. Two of the crew are Irish Citizens (One of whom is a Nobel peace prize winner)
By not taking these humanitarian actions and/or conducting these protests, the PALs would be more likely to get with the 21st century. The land which is now Israel, was a no-man's land, after the demise of the Ottoman Empire and the withdrawal of Britain, since there was no state to secure property rights. Leonard Cohen has the right to perform in Tel Aviv, and the Irish have the right to purchase Israeli goods and services without fear of intimidation from this campaign.
