In this video, a Northwood FA Series CNC Router is demonstrating the use of both a profile cutting head and fixed ring aggregate horizontal boring unit to create an custom architectural door. Vacuum support pods are placed using a laser projection unit, and are \completely customizable. While the 5 Axis portion of the machines capabilities are not being used much, one can only imagine what else you could do with various types of cutters and fixtures with a 5 axis head.

  • what are you guys using to hold the pieces down and elavated

  • I love the machine,... but what's the point of having an expensive 5 axis machine if you're just going to use 'right angled' adaptors to drill from the side?
