  • I'm sorry are you people debating the exsistance of God. I think it's quite plainly clear that God does not exsist for multiple reasons, anyone who can still believe in God (in my opinion) in modern day having seen how science pulls its theories apart, having seen how christians are desperatly grasping on to non-exsistant evidence is bewildering to me. And yes all of that is coming from an Agnostic who is fiffteen years old.

  • @fragalrock555 If you are an agnostic then you are undecided whether or not there is a god. Today we use the term Atheist for those who do not believe there is god.

  • Science took for example from the bible the worlds creation

Look In the bible god created light, Big Bang was first in science and that explosion must have generated a lot of light.

God created the earth and first there were only water, In science the earth had a lot of water, God created first fishes "water animals" then plants, birds and "land creatures" and last the human. Science explains that too but with other words.

I think you get it even if the order of events weren't exact.

  • @concorde123100 You are talking absolute bollocks. Why would an omnipotent omnscient god need to take s rip from adam to make him a woman? Surely he would have willed her into exitence without having to do surgery. Life on this planet evolved. We are all the product of evolution. The bible got it wrong. There was no Adam an Eve

  • @DrMontague That`s true, but I think one should take any `holy`text literally. They are created by the human minds. We see evolutions everywhere - however, this is the physical part but modern sciences are getting to the possibilities that there might be other dimensions and, if it does, it does not necessarily mean anything more than that we have to `respect`the metaphysical as a part of our existential conditions.

  • @imagesoflightable We can be open to the possibilities of other dimensions but they are not proven. However multiple dimensions does not imply a god but only multiple dimensions. In short the bible was written by men who got the creation story wrong just as the mythology of the Greeks got the creation wrong. It's all bollocks.

  • @DrMontague “I know. I do not need to believe in God; I know.”

  • @fragalrock555

I think you're an Agnostic Atheist. Agnostic is an adjective, not a religious belief, meaning not knowing for sure. Because by default you live under the assumption there is no god but do not claim to know for sure, that makes you an atheist of the agnostic variety.

For more clarity check out Richard Dawkins' scale of atheism/theism.
