Photoshop Elements 6.0 - : Space Tutorial :

This is my first go at making space scenes like this one. I decided to make a tutorial because of frequently asked question about how I did it without using photoshop 7 and photoshop cs3.

This is also my first time making a tutorial. Take light on me.

alright thanks but now i have another question =P, im trying to figure out what u ment in the sun part, i putr sen in and stuff but i used lens flare, it looks better and it gives you that shadow effect. but when u said put 2 suns, i was confuesed, where would i put the 2 suns to get the same affect as atmosphere. and another thing is how would i auto fit it or like get rid of the ba ckroung on it so that it is just the planet with no like square box

i did say that, because when you do so and add that extra light effect, please note that i say: gaussian fade it, so that is nice and soft

im trying to make this but i cant find the layer mask thing on 6.0

it's probably just because i have a different language selected to run the program, but i suggest mimicing the image at 0:43 just in case it turns out to be the right button anyways.
