I don't understand, she bought a computer without doing any research beforehand, was too much of a retard to figure out how to use a different operating system, and then went to cry about it on TV, and somehow this is all Dell's fault for selling a computer with an OS other than Windows? The funniest part was that they did show some no connection in firefox and a reconnect button and the normal 404 message. So of course here the Ubuntu OS is guilty for making the internet connection bad "rofl".

At that point you knew the quality of this "press product", oh hi I wanted to see chicks get excited using linux so I searched girls + linux. And then I did not read the title of this "product" good enough now I got something wrong... so...

this story sums up my attempt at linux ... the install is a nightmare and assuming you get it installed ... wireless and wired network won't work! Comparing Linux to Windows is insulting! At least under Windows your hardware works after install ... Linux is a freaking crap shoot whether it works or not =)

Why not just ask questions, explore the OS, talk to somebody you know who is an advanced computer user and ask for guidance? I run both on my computer, and both serve their specific purposes for me, but anything I need to do on Windows, I could technically do on Ubuntu. People really need to learn how to become more intuitive tech consumers, it will save them a lot of frustration. Heaven forbid you go to your public library and use their computers in the meantime!
