They were at The Cresset @ Bretton, Peterborough,UK. And the show was just AMAZING!

Seen them last week in Basingstoke (UK). Excellent musicians, however main singers aren't that great.  He sounds like Oscar D'Leon but poor.

They are the Original Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club!!!

Among them are Aguaje Ramos, Manuel Galban, Barbarito Torres and Guajiro Mirabal who all play with Buena Vista Social Club for ages.

depends on the place that they are playing...if it's like a Jazz Festival, where the audience is sit, and loving the musicians, they will play better. If is a concert where people are standing up, they play just for the party. It lacks the bass player "Cachaito" now, and it only have 2 of the originals, and another 4 that made part of the group in some ocasions. But they are always great, it worth the money, trust me...

Are Orquesta Buena Vista as good as the original group? I have the original BVSC cd and Im not sure whether to buy tickets to Orquesta's concert when they are on tour.
