Do you know if recording the takeoff and landing of a plane from the cabin, Will it pick up the sound perfect as it sounds or will it make cracking noises?

The sound is auto adjust.

so therefore it should not cracking noises.

I Have recorded some loud sounds never had cracking.

what kind of computer do you use cause i have heard that the software is not compatible with vista and you need it for uploading videos.

My computer is Toshiba it came with Vista

no problems, it works,

Also dual boot with windows 7 works no problems..the software works with vista & 7..

I installed in on vista with no problems..

as far as win7 goes I use a shortcut from vista programs PIXELA ..Everio MediaBrowser.browse down till you find .MediaBrowser icon copy & paste to your desktop on win 7 and it works..I just didn't want install again..

I have vista 32 bit windows

I don't now about64 bit windows Cause I use Vista 32 Bit...there is a little diffrent between 32 & 64 bit versions..But I think it should work..I do now that on 64 bit windows your windows will make use of more RAM..Where is 32 bit is limited up to 4 gb.

Do you know if you can use this camera as a webcam?

one of the first things I did was read the Instructions Manual. It did not say anything about using as webcam.. I did try My computer only see's the sd Card , it don't see as camera. It does have a USB cable that comes with it upload your videos or you can use the sd card and plug it into your computer it does the same thing..but as to use as webcam I am sorry You Can't...My video captures software did not reconize camera either.. My thought is you can't..

Thank you for just opening the box and showing what was inside. I just ordered this camera and it was unnecessarily hard trying to find out exactly what it came with. So thank you for not taking 10 minutes to open the box. This was very helpful.

@RyanHaslett you have to charge it. You put the charger where you put in the camcorder and you put that charger piece into the USB drive on your camcorder and now it should work!
