@martineicelewis As long as you drank a lot of fluids for days after, you shouldn't have had any negative effects. Some people experience severe constipation because they didn't drink enough fluid to flush the barium out of the bowels.

I HAD THIS TEST DONE THE OTHER DAY AND THE SIDE AFFECTS CAME ON ME DAYS AFTER HORRIBLE :(

@naijabebe Its my prayer that the appointment went well. And no, they don't put a tube down your throat unless they want to perform an endoscopy which is where they will numb your throat and/or give you a sedative and stick a scope with a camera on it and a little light on it down into your stomach and carefully view your digestive track making sure everything doesn't appear abnormal.
