Olivia has just tried on her new Atrac Brace to support her stifle. She was diagnosed with a ruptured cruciate ligament 4 weeks ago.

  • Do you know the size she used? I'm trying to order one but it's a 2-3 week delay minumum.

This brace is somewhat custom fit. You need to take the meaurements of the dog first. I believe you can find the measuring instructions on the website. I don't know this dog's size because I did not place the order.....sorry.

  • Don't expect any customer service. "the customer is always wrong" is their motto. All the links that warn you about them are true- unless you get lucky and it just fits w/o needing any help from them.

  • So, getting the right size is a crap shoot, despite the fact that their professional chart makes it look easy. If you can find a vet who has worked with them enough to have seen the different sizes and can determine what size is right, this brace has potential. Don't expect any good customer service either. They don't listen to you and can ignore your calls/emails. Maybe you'll get lucky. Would have gone smooth if I'd had the right size. Only too a few minutes to put on, that was easy.

  • The brace comes in different sizes and you order from their chart based on measurements. There is a 21 day warranty but has huge qualifications. They are not responsible if brace is wrong size. You pay 10% restocking and up to 75% for use, their determination. They take no responsibility for the wrong size even if you took perfect measurements. Their size chard is NOT exact (sizes over lap) so if you end up ordering the wrong size through the chart error, it will cost you. No exceptions .

  • It stabilizes knee while it is weak (torn tissue) so it can form scar tissue that will stabilize the knee. Difficult to get ahold of them, hard to get good answers once you buy it. If you get it, get it through a vet so you have more clout and support if you have problems. Also helps to have a professional help you fit it for the first time so the proper area of the knee is in the right place. It is worth the effort as they do not seem to be a very supportive company. It has potential.

  • Did this brace work to heal the leg. I just called the company.

  • did this correct without surgery?
