I COMPLETELY understand how you feel. It's always difficult to understand how some parents think it's alright to say things like that. I know my mom justified it b y saying that if she said things honestly to me that maybe if I felt bad enough about my self image I would try losing way....Freakin-AAAAA!! Come on! What type of F-UP parent would think that. Now I just listen to her....she refuses to be buy me clothes though...Until I lose weight....LOFL oh well that's why I work ^_^

I sooo know about parents having diarrhea mouth where they don't think before they say. I am the oldest of three girls and I am the only one who is plus size. My two sisters are are a size 8 or below. My dad thought it was a good idea to compare me to my sisters inorder for him to get me to stop eating. He asked me "Don't you want to be like your sisters and have a boyfriend, if you do you need to stop eating". Never told any one until now.

I wanna give you a great big hug! When I was about ten I started to get really bad acne, coupled with the fact that I was a total nerd, I was ostracized pretty quick. Thankfully I found people to hang out with and my reading made for excellent comebacks!
