i really like him and all, but i think that all of the shows he plays are just recordings. it all just sounds too perfect. and with all the stuff he has on the stage, it really wouldnt be all that surprising. and i know everyone is going to hate me for saying this and deny it, but just think about it...

nawh it's totally cool, you're entitled to your opinion obviously and anyone who gets mad at for you it is really dumb.

i've seen him twice now (i still need to put up videos from the 2nd show) but i think it's a lot clearer in his 2nd show that the sound was more him. he changed around his voice in the songs more, and it's hard to see everything on stage but there is a live drummer,

and another guy Austin is making a lot of the sounds too with guitar and keyboard, & Adam has a sound board up there as well

Hopefully i'll be getting the other videos soon and maybe you'll think the live shows are better? : )

Yes, They are recordings. There is no way Adam could play the 20 different layers of music by himself, he would need 20 synthesists to play a show. The singing is him, he is just using an Autotune vocoder, to keep the electric feel. Without that, it wouldn't sound like Owl City. Most people really don't care either way, it's more or less about the experience of seeing him and singing along than the actual music being played live.
