  • Freakin amazing!!!

  • so you were bored and you just clicked WIndows Movie maker got stargate music and starwars video selected and you wasted 4 mins creating it. so you still have plenty of time being bored :)

  • Yeah Babylon 5 crossed my mind a few times.

I haven't seen too much of it though.

The way shows versus movies are filmed is pretty different too.

  • You could do something like Babylon 5 which was written by one man and maintained continuity very well weaving a story around the crew of one starbase.

  • Did you watch Atlantis?

I also wonder if a miniseries on a high budget could do a Star Wars type story well.

I wonder how the writing schedule works compared to how a movie is.

  • Well the live action series is coming maybe next year, maybe the year after. Taking place between Episodes 3 and 4.

Often series are more episodic, but some are planned out in advance. I like how series are able to go into a lot of detail with the characters for sure.

Star Wars has always been a big story though, I'm not sure if it would work quite right.

Would a string of episodes take place mainly on a different rebel base or what?

  • Star Wars would have rocked as a series. Most sci-fi serieses these days pack better special effects than Star Wars ever had into 45 minute chunks. Plus you get better character development. Downside is that George Lucas would have to actually hire a science consultant. Sorry, no more blowing up planets.

  • That's not coming for a while.

  • Star Wars the series!!

  • Also, the part at :34 seems to demand a ship flying by or something, and the note at :45 demands an explosion if you ask me
