Lebanese President Lahoud Interview with the BBC

The president of Lebanon, Emile Lahoud, has said Israel is the "real enemy" of Lebanon, not Syria.

He told the BBC's Kim Ghattas there was no evidence that Syria was involved in the murder of former prime minister, Rafik Hariri.

Syria did not want to kick the Christians out of Lebanon. They committed crimes and now they are gone. Let us not blame Syria for everything; making them the scapegoat and talk about the issues on the ground. And your second to last sentence again shows your ignorance. In many Muslim countries there are churches; Iran, Syria, Egypt, Iraq, Indonesia, Pakistan, etc.
