  • Is the Ballarat Line mostly Double track or single?

  • It's double track from Sunshine to Deer Park West junction, then its single track all the way to Ballarat with (off the top of my head) crossing loops at Rockbank, Melton, Parwan, Bank Box Loop and a big loop formed by the Bungaree deviation. Bacchus Marsh has a loop, but as far as I know it's not used for crossing trains.
