Pagani detention, Lesvos, by A. Melitopoulos

Greece, in the detention center for migrants who crossed the border from Tukey to Greece. More then 800 migrants are locked into this prison in inhuman conditions. Thanks to the demonstrations organized by the No Border Camp in Lesvos a delegetion with doctors, lawyers, translators, media activists were allowed to visit the detention center. A small group of women and children were released. The following day more then 150 migrants were released. They got papers to travel in Greece for approx. 30 days.

thanks for posting this. I am really afraid of whats going on in Europe, i am an immigrant in Spain and the system keeps on creating "Illegal Immigrants", i have lived here for the last four years and even with a lawyer it´s almost impossible to be legal, i went to university here and have constant job as an artist and i can´t be legal .. my position is a complete privilege compared to someone coming from a country in direct political conflict with the EU ... it´s awful whats going on.

greeks are animal becouse they treat other like animals..... no humanity at all i gave you an exaple, i myself went to greece about 20 days ago for search of my missing cousin who has not contacted his family in afghanistan for 20 days now.. i myself was arested in train station and treated like animal that my British Passport is Fake, i told them it is not but the tolk me to airport to check if its real, damn i was waiting for 6 hourse for train and i missed it coz of these fuckin greek police

Simple Solution. Deport them all. Why even bother housing them at all and having them live in squalor? They are not Greek citizens and the country doenst have the resources to keep them in the country.
