I believe there is an awareness, which permeates all things, animal, stone, wind, and plants. It unifies and permits agreement on multiple levels. Some join that thing.

My old friend rode a moon beam around a shooting star and tumbled from a cloud
Into a place we just imagine.
He rode upon a thing that made some old leaves lift away as though a breeze may
Need to see what lay beneath them.
Its a sudden combination of a scent and memory, and old visions in a mind of how
Old friendship used to be. Its a sudden combination of a voice and melody and
Some journey from the known into a hidden mystery.
He rode within old math that leads the fog down to the river, sharing water as it
Touches countless pebbles in the sand.
He took this journey once or twice or maybe several hundred times and when my
Old friend learned to fly this way hed stay the course until he felt another perfect
Time and place to land.
My old friend travels faster now than water, sound, and light, and only thought can
Twin him as it races by his side.
He is like some million others who have savored there and then, but hes special to
His family and to one old lonesome friend.

the back drop is black cloth over a section of scaffold. the lighting is 2 500 watt halogen work lamps, not pointed directly at the "talent" but reflected off walls. the camera is a simple point and shoot camera with a memory card that permits one hour video. it is a Cannon Power Shot SD790IS. no guitar amplification. the only mic is the one built into the camera. camera result is automatically in youtube format, so you just shoot and upload. camera, card, tripod, about $300.00 (10 megapix)
