@gnevolejr I don't believe match races are illegal, but good luck getting any track of repute to allow one. There was a tiny bit of call for a Rachel Alexandra vs Zenyatta race ..... went over like a lead balloon.

If I'm not mistaken, it was because of what happened to Ruffian, Match races are no longer sanctioned. It's a terrible shame that such a beautiful Philly had to be put down because of her injury.

Honorable Miss was Franks another filly, coincidence they raced same day....

They really boo Foolish Pleasure in the winning circle...

She was very calm after the break down... Beautiful, beautiful Ruffian... It was great to she her at parade... Breath taking horse...

There are another few new angels in the race... First time I saw complete race...
