  • @bvestationfan The express track was marked for service in the opposite direction. That is why it was not using it. In sections where only one track is an Express track trains run on it usually in only one direction dictated by rush hour. As a result some Express trains go on the local when there is no Express track available.

  • @7susanrox Actually I believe the express track was marked for service in the opposite direction. That is why it was not using it.

  • umm it's a battery run, trains that go express on local tracks is called a battery run, it's not doing skip stops like the J and Z because the J and Z trains usually take turns bypassing each skip stop station.
