That ball was on its way out regardless of what Erik Howard did. Roger Craig, great player that he was, did a terrible job on carrying the ball. I would think he'd know to make sure the ball was in a more secure position than it was.

@Market42Fan Bad job by Craig no doubt, but as a Giants fan I prefer to think of it as a great play by Howard. He was being double teamed, and LG McIntyre thought that Howard was out of the play, so he moved on to block a linebacker. Meanwhile Howard fought his way through and got his helmet on the ball. The fancy guys get all of the attention, but this time the nose tackle made the biggest play of the season.

what a jerk off and what an even bigger jerk off Roger Craig was 2:45 sec and 1st and 10 and COUNTING DOWN and he just loses the ball after almost fumbling it on the first play of the drive

@xaqshuna2003 Oh yeah you outsmarted me. I obviously wasn't talking about him being a Favre lover then. I said "jinxes Roger Craig" AND continues (currently) to be a Packers/Brett Favre lover." I'll make sure to clarify groups of time for you next time. Madden sucks Brett Favre's c**k. Even after he's been retired three times, he makes references that have nothing to do with Brett, about him. You must be a huge Favre lover/Packers fan, Vikings fan or a combination of the three.

@xaqshuna2003 That's a pretty overly simplistic way to look at the game. The better team won, and went on to win the Super Bowl.

Plus, you could look at it from the other direction...by your logic, if Carthon hadn't have dropped the TD pass, and John Taylor didnt get that flukey long TD, the Giants win by double digits.
