Okay... If you ever have the free time.. (you dont have too) but could you possibly message me the steps you did to make this? My friend and I are doing a miku and luka magnet and these seem killer sweet. I reallt want to know where you're putting the extra string of lights. Like I said.. You dont have to do.. But I will love you forever if you did. We're trying hard to save our money, so we dont wonna buy premade ones. But... Shank you ;)

APPLAUSE. I really wanna make a pair. just for normal use though, not for cosplay.
the light thing is so cool. but it just would not be very.. efficient I guess.

Nahh, I didn't even start making these until December. We wore them only to the NDK NYE and we may wear them to the Wasabi formal. I think we're only gonna use these for formal events. Regular conventioning probably involves too much running around for the headphones to last long, unfortunately.
Even if I had worn them to NDK, I always seem to have horrible photoshoot timing and probably would have missed the shoot anyways. xD

how did you build them? I build these for my fellow cosplayers and I'd love to know how to do it

I cut the butterfly wing pattern out of foam and cut the green stuff in the same shape to match. The black and green is glued together with superglue. The wings themselves are superglued to the headphones and then were backed with hot glue (it holds well, but is lumpy and ugly so I put it where it can't be seen.)
The headphones themselves were actual headphones. I didn't build them.
