MyHealthierMe VEGAN OAT COOKIES
3/4 cup Tahini
1/4 cup EV Olive Oil
1/4 cup Blackstrap Molasses
1 1/4 cup Cane Sugar
1 Banana
4 tbsp Apple sauce
1/2 tsp Vanilla bean
3 tbsp Cacao Powder
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
1/4 tsp Cloves
1 tsp Baking Soda
Sea Salt, a dash
1 cup Spelt Flour
2 1/2 cups Oats
Optional: Raisins, or Chocolate pieces (no milk)
Directions: Using an electric mixer, blend Tahini, Olive oil, Molasses, and Sugar; until well combined. Add Banana, Apple sauce, and Vanilla; blend. Add Cacao powder, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Cloves, Baking soda, and Salt; blend. Add Flour, blend. Ensure all ingredients are blended together, scrape sides of bowl. Stir in Oats; stir well. Spoon onto cookie sheet.
Bake for 8 to 10 mins at 325º - 350ºC. Yields 3 dozen.
* NOTE: Do not over bake unless you like hard cookies. Under baking produces chewy cookies.*

@leigh4health Try using another nut butter instead of tahini to make it taste "fattier" more like butter :D mmmm like macadamia nut butter or cashew butter. Don't forget that all the ingredients are "ok" to eat raw; so you don't need to "over-cook" them. Just enough to get it dried and not sticky (or use a dehydrator!) :) Peace & Love
