Supermodel v2 - Scud Race

I was asked by Bart Trzynadlowski if I'd like to be a play tester for the next build of his excellent Supermodel Sega Model 3 emulator. So I of course said yes I'd love to! Bart said he's also happy for me to post a few videos of the still WIP v2 build, so here's a bit of Scud Race, now with added sound and full analogue device support. I'm playing this with my Ferrari Thrustmaster wheel and it handles like a dream (all without having to change any config options - just plug the wheel in before loading the emulator and you're sorted!). Apart from actual game play, the benefits of analogue support become immediately apparent on the course and car selection screens. Also, the cars in the selection screen are the right colour now (this is also the case in Daytona 2 as well).

Why hasn't this been ported to PSN or XBLA??

@TGrrr89 If the re-released version of the original Daytona USA sells well enough, who knows, maybe Sega'll start looking at some of their old Model 3 catalogue for the PSN/XBLA treatment.

The thing is, this game has a Ferrari and a Porsche, which are licenses Sega can't obtain because 1) they let the Ferrari license lapse and 2) EA owns Porsche. I guess they could remove all the badging but I don't think that would be enough to bypass paying for a license to use the cars. It would be awesome to see this rereleased, but I dunno if they'd want to risk it.

Although, we also have to consider that the fact that the Scud Race tracks were in Outrun 2 as a bonus might hamper that (just as the crappy new Sega Rallies are probably holding back a Sega Rally Champ/2 remake).
