Parks, clean air, bike facilities, good public transport. These make cities attractive for young people to live in, work or raise a family.

  • More green color on the streets. Trees, grass and flowers at the windows. Less cars. Subways sounds good too.

  • I live in the US, and my work has shower facilities. People really love it. Quite a few employees either cycle to work or workout over their lunch, and it's really an added benefit to have a shower available to them.

Granted, not every company can do this, but it really does make it easier to be more active during the work day. Then again, if you're working 60+ hours (like many people do in the US), I guess it wouldn't matter...

  • I am very concerned about the total embarrassment of the EU peddling corrupt propaganda about global warming & climate change without one shred of scientific evidence to back its taxation & control on these issues. Even using its own logic - the carbon footprint of windpower exceeds the saving in production of the concrete alone & how do you remove it when it proves useless? Stop conning people - cities are best dealt with by decentralisation curring the need to travel. Look at EU MEPs example!

  • Stop ibterfering in the internal politics of Ireland by running adverts on the Lisbon treaty and how great the EU is during a referendum campaign.

  • Obviously less car and more green make a city liveable, but the very question is: How make it possible?

  • make it convenient so people can take showers?

lol come to the US of A and try saying that, and everyone would laugh. And you would go back to your 60 hour work week.

  • EU sets an exemple
