Harvard Professor and Nanotech pioneer explains how the work going on in his lab allows the transmission of information in the form of light through nanofibers. Along the way, he demystifies the nanoscale, and discusses how the bending and reflection of light makes this possible. Cool presentation. One question: at 7:25, "you can see the beam bounce inside"... if you could see that, wouldn't that mean there is some light escaping?
