Most of yall have obviously never raced a micro/mini sprint. Yes it does have a transmission for whoever came up with that idea. On some of our tracks we will run a little over 100 at the end of the straight and others we will run in the 90's. Please stop talking crap when you've never even raced one of these.

@ Kellykayek5 and these things are very easy on fuel
-
what kind of restrictor plates were you using?
-
@KelleyKayeK5 it's fast artard. alcohol = more fuel = faster. and cleaner. I'd be running it in my race bikes if I had a distillery.
-
but why would you want to race achoal ? gas is cheaper , i mean atleast for my go kart it is ;;
-
cody brulett right? i raced quarter midgets with him
-
put a hotbox on it :)
-
@ruckert80 you have a rpm limit?
well also when you get passed that number you are out of the power band
-
yes it burns faster, but it provides a little more horsepower, and is cheaper than gas. that is why it is used for racing, and no you cant add oil to it
-
dosent the alch burn faster than gas leading to a less efficent fuel and can it be solved by adding oil
-
Damn some people are dumb first of all racing methanol is cheaper than gas and second that's a pretty mediocre car I used to run a sawyer chassis on a fully port and polished 3 gear fully equipped race motor

was curious, i have 2 r6's and you just ran straight alcohol with no problems?

Yes. You have to rejet the carbs. You need 2 times as much alcohol to make them run.
Alcohol is about $5 a gallon and you will get like 10mpg. haha.
