  • You guys are the greatest!

  • flying in even a cessna is way safer than riding in a car. should we not let dogs in cars either? flying is not nearly as "inherently dangerous" as a lot of thing you did today.

  • @GscottS16 it's like working in a hospital, sometimes nothing happens, at other times shit hits the fan. great job guys!!! SEMPER Paratus

  • @uncwil I'm afraid you're mistaken. Flying in smaller private aircraft is roughly 8 times as dangerous riding in a car. This is calculated by injury of all sorts compared to hours of exposure to each method of transport. Travel by major commercial carriers is safer than automobile travel, that much is true.

  • Does anybody here know how often coast guard helo pilots go on missions like search and rescue and things like that?

  • @uncwil of course when i crash in my car i don't burst into flame, rapidly depressurize, and plummet to the ground from 30,000 feet..defiantly sounds safer..no its not safer, accidents happen less often because fewer people fly than drive.

  • you guys are the best. wow!

  • I would make sure they took my dog first before they took myself. Its cool to see that they focus on a pet like this as a life and not an expendable item.

  • Oh wow,I used to live in Saint simons island Georgia. I would have probably been able to monitor this on my scanner radios!

  • I'm coast guard AST and i agree with you they are so awesome! Boat officers not so much

  • thats skilled

  • coast guard pilots and just airstation officers in general are the coolest officers in the coast guard
