Mine is from Mequon. Yes I noticed that about this amp not breaking up. I was looking at putting a gainier 12ax7 in one of the channels to see if that would make it overdrive easier but I never got around to it.

MIne is the same way. When I found mine it sadly did not have the stock speakers. Im not 100% happy with the tone and have been considdering trading it for a vintage fender. Im not sure what I have to do to make it sound like it should, I guess it may need tubes. The problem is NO ONE knows what the heck it is so its hard trading or selling or servicing it.

I should not be hard to service it, as the schematic is included inside the back cover. I've got a bunch of old Fender amps which of course I love but I think the Laub has much more useable reverb and the vibrato circuit drives it home in terms of "Uniqueness" :)

@jakeeckes The pots don't work like on a normal amp... it stays clean until the thing is on 91/2... I guess it was made to be loud and undistorted for all those squeeze box players originally. I just dime mine and use my volume on the guitar to clean it up when i need to..

Hard to believe this is the only video of a 26R on YouTube...
And why does EVERY one I have ever seen look brand new??
