I remember watching these on Saturday morning back then. ACLTony, you are right about that being a fairly innocent time for children then, even with everything going down around us.
Seeing these again here and now, I have to say that the Superboy eps are better than the Superman eps. Many of the latter just involved an encounter with Kryptonite, then Superman finding some lead shielding and then nabbing Luthor or whoever. At least that Kryptonite Caper Superboy ep was more involved than that.

This during the 1960s. Even with all that was going on in the world then (Vietnam, civil rights marches) it was a relatively enjoyable and innocent time for those of us that were kids then.
