The event of the season and Labor Day Weekend was The Hampton Classic Horse Show Grand Prix and VIP tent on Sunday, August 31. The perfect weather cooperated as celebrities, politicians and other local notables attended the final day of the 33rd annual Hampton Classic Horse Show Grand Prix and VIP tent.

The organizers of The Hampton Classic ran an extraordinary week long event capped off with a fabulous final closing day. People watchers were not disappointed as Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Naomi Campbell, Lou Dobbs, former Mayor Giuliani, Daphne Guinness, Kelly Klein, Beth Ostrosky, Kelly Ripka, and Ivana Trump were some of the celebs seen in the Grand Prix tent.

The Hampton Classic Horse Show is one of the country's largest and most spectacular hunter/jumper horse shows. With more than 1,400 horses and over half a million dollars in prize money, the Classic is not only a sporting event of major proportions, but also one of the most extravagant social events of the Hampton's summer season. The thousands of spectators who attended each day enjoyed watching a full schedule of competition in five show rings while also keeping their eyes open for celebs.

The Classic hosts hunter/jumper competition for riders ranging from the youngest competitors in Leadline and Short Stirrup classes all the way up to Olympic veterans in the $200,000 FTI Grand Prix.

The Hampton Classic Horse Show celebrated its 33rd anniversary with more than 70 corporate sponsors drawn from virtually every sector of the business world-Fashion, finance, luxury brands, publishing, real estate, and television.
