  • He never told them that the Fujiwaragumi was all worked.

My beef with Vale is that he promoted himself as the Shootfighting Heavyweight champion, but he didn't go to Pancrase with the real shootwrestlers, he continued to wrestle worked bouts.

  • @azraelangelofred He "beat" Ken Shamrock in a worked pro wrestling fight. He NEVER fought in Pancrase.

  • Dynaman, I can assure you Bart is the real deal. I am a student of his and he mops me up every time. I've tapped out many experienced jiu jitsu guys in my years of marital arts (and, naturally, I have been tapped out many times as well), so it's not as if I lack experience. I even lived and trained daily in Bangkok, Thailand for some time. Bart is more than just an accomplished fighter, he's also an amazing coach and true martial artist in every sense of the word. Cheers.

  • He may have not had many real MMA fights, but his win over Mike Bitonio is one of the most savage fights in MMA history.

  • Attended one of his seminars and was having trouble with a technique. His advice was to gain 40 lbs. Then it occurred to me to watch his "fights". Other than pre-scripted/ pre-determined "show" wrestling shows he did in Japan, he had three real fights. The first one was WCC in 1995 where he managed to beat a much smaller guy (Bitonio) with headbutts. He busted his own head up bad enough that he could not continue to the next round. That was his only win.

  • This man is as formidable as they come. He is very controlled, precise, and gorilla strong. Talk if you've been in the cage. Bart Vale has put it all on the line. He is a man of action, not only words.

  • @Dynaman21 i train with his partner..and hes done it all

  • He defeated Ken Shamrock. He was King of Pancrase wasn't he?

  • He talks a lot, looks good when training, even brags. Failed big time in Extreme fighting.

If he is so good, why didn't he enter the UFC back in the day? Or Pancrase to fight Bas Rutten?

His only claim to fame is beating a young Ken Shamrock..... Those can do, those who can't teach.. and hype them selves up...

Bart is over rated and was exposed at Extreme fighting.....
