    Three months earlier on July 23rd it entered Billboard's Top 100 chart; eventually it peaked at #9 and spent 10 weeks on the Top 100...

    And on August 27th it reached #1 {for 1 week} on Billboard's Hot R&B Singles chart...

    Three years earlier in 1963 Peter, Paul and Mary's covered version peaked at #2 {for 1 week} on the Top 100...

    R.I.P. Ms. Travers and Mr. Clark...
