"kinky" was a very mainstream word for women's boots in those days. You'd buy kinky boots in high-street boutiques. In general the word only meant 'unusual' or 'quirky', so this would not have been regarded as a particularly pervy song. Nowadays "kinky" is invariably associated with paraphilias. (Just as the word 'gay' used to mean bright and happy, but now invariably means homosexual). ... and you'll find plenty of 'sexy little schoolgirls' in the St Trinian's films (1954-2009)
