I'm very sorry about her passing. I know how wonderful and loving rabbits are, and caring for a special needs bunny is never easy. One of my bunnies had a stomach problem and had almost constant diarrhea. I know how hard it is to take care of and clean up after bunnies that need extra help. Don't feel guilty though. You did a great thing for her by not giving up on her and giving her the best life she could have.

So good to see people who are serious about the wellbeing of rabbits and I'm sorry for your loss.
I have adopted two rabbits from a local shelter and Mia has had so many problems. I'm so greatfull my vet cares so much. About 2 years ago I discovered an abcess on her right bottom jaw. Getting it fixed was difficult and expencive. The clinic payed for most of the operation while others thought she should be put down. I'm so lucky to still have her with me to enjoy her happiness and love every day.

My condolences on loosing Lily. Was her death due to complications from the paralysis? Lily is special and had a loving family.
What a beautiful little bunny. Sorry for your loss! I'm looking to build something similar for my own bunny Spike and would really appreciate tips on how you made yours.

Can you please tell me if she had a broken back? My rabbit broke his back a week ago and the vet really wants me to put him to sleep. I am not sure what to do.

i'm really sorry to hear that!
no her back wasn't broken, her spinal cord got pinched. we were also told to put her down, but we got a second opinion. it isn't easy caring for a disabled rabbit though, i would really consider talking to a small animal specialist and deciding whether or not you feel you can still give your rabbit a good life. bedsores are really hard to prevent in rabbits, and its hard for them to get enough exercise. i still carry a lot of guilt about my rabbit
