  • Today I made my new speaker... "band pass" thankee very much for yours briefs.... The sound was realy good....

  • Good, !! a well made band pass kickes ass!! johnathan

  • i got a b52 whale bass speaker i plan to get another do you think its better to get one amp for each for better performance ornot?

  • its down to ohms go see vids on ohms!! johnathan

  • what would be a good setup for outdoors?

  • Depending on the amount of people, a small two way of about 1,000w(1k) for a croud of up to 100, but over that and you will need a bigger system . For outside a horn loaded system is better as it throws the sound a greater distance. If you play outside a small full range cab will be no good!

  • You forgot folded horns...

  • The first design is actually called "Horn Loaded" Or A "Scoop"

The second design is called "Vented" Or "Direct Radiating"

The last design would be a 4th Order Bandpass.

Bandpass subwoofers only play at one certain frequency.. hence the fact that they would be loud..depending on what frequency they are being played at.

  • This video has a shitload of misleading information.

  • @gtr3cords Assuming uou will use this 4 a home sound system an internal amp is ideal because a receiver will not push your sub as hard and most receivers will give u a liitle treble through it unless u have a channle 4 it so then u also need 2 put in ur AV cords to plug into the active "Powered" Sub plug For max preformance

  • The long throw design looks like a Fibonacci spiral, i wonder if it was designed based on that.
