Save Me was written as an expression of how suppressed memories can inflict emotional and burdensome stress upon ones soul. These chains represent the most despicable exploitation of a innocent soul. All too often recollections are not realized until many years have transpired . Perhaps, it is the sheer terror that causes the mind to void out that which is too painful to mentally comprehend or explore. We all have encountered transgressions in our lives that are either malicious in nature and/or inflicted ignorantly upon our soul. As God and I have worked through my tribulations, God taught me that these heinous injuries must be released to the Lord, Jesus Christ. Evil will continue to control our souls if we allow anger to dwell within us. Once we choose to let go of the past and forgive others of their sins, we will begin to experience inner peace like never before. During this song, Save Me, there is an intense, violent battle when evil is released to the Lord and the evil is commanded out of my soul in the name of Jesus Christ. No offensive language is utilized but the drama is full of vigor and zest. * It is then that inner peace begins as it heals the wounds so deeply embedded within. This does not mean that our lives will be perfect but instead that our lives will be filled with a knowledge and understanding of Gods wisdom, grace and power. We do not need to trouble ourselves with the things that bother our minds. By releasing our burdens to the Lord we will see ongoing growth in our personal relationship with our Lord, Jesus Christ. Save Me, is written to help others know that they are not alone as temptation presents itself to us all each and everyday.

I pray for my family, my friends, my listeners and myself to recognize evil when it presents itself in to our lives. I ask that the Lord equip our minds and our souls with the exact response appropriate to push away sin before it begins.

* We cannot take on evil, only Jesus can. I chose the German language to represent the powerful and pointed battle inside my soul. German phrase: Go GO Teufel im Namen Jesu. English translation:GO GO DEVIL IN JESUS NAME.
