A singer for all times and a world class performer. He loved his audiences and they loved him back. It hurts that he's gone, but he will always be with us in his music.

You will always be with us in our memories and our hearts. RIP Marty

Love this song rest in peace Marty Robbins

Aptly titled the "Definitive Total Package" - This man stood for all that is American and had it all - the look, the talent, and a voice that could rip the best of the best; maybe a title of "memories of REAL superstars" should just not die - RIP

I was 10 when he passed and I remember being hurt sad and I cried. He was my Elvis! I still can't believe the world lost a TRUE ENTERTAINER too soon! Thanks dad for introducing me to this amazing artist with passion in his soul for his songs. I remember sitting in dads lap while driving the truck down the dirt road listening to Marty, Merle, Slim, Jones, Twitty and the list goes on and on and To this day, I carry 'em all in my songs. Thanks Marty for all the great memories.

Great song.Everone has gone through this song.Another favorite is felena, and count me out.He passed away when i was 7,but i will always believe that he has one of the best voices ever.Great story teller.I am also very glad that Ronnie keeps his image alive.I never seen him live in concert, but my mother did,and she said that hes shows would never end that they would just go on 4 hours.Atleast u got your moneys worth, not like concerts 2day.

My grandma is almost 82 now...I was only 8 when Marty died, but I remember how sad she was. She always played his 8 track (yes 8 track) in her white Monte Carlo and we'd sing to him together. She always commented how sexy he was :-)) and now as a 37 year old woman..I'd have to agree he was.
