This is one of the longer videos on our channel, because it actually goes out as a 'gift' to my email subscribers to match the recipe in our newsletter this month.

The recipe is going out tonight in our monthly newsletter. If you are not signed up, go to: http://www.eatgrains.com and maybe you'll be in time to get it. If not, you'll enjoy a free recipe each month and we can forward you this one that you missed!

Great tasty bread for the holidays. Not your usual fruit cake.

  • Did you use Kosher or Table Salt?

  • @MrAve970 ~ Sorry the notice of a comment got pushed to second page of emails.

It is actually a fine sea salt.

  • How long do we bake the mini loaves?

  • @16hilltyKMS ~ Hi!

Most of the time it's around 10-15 minutes.

    Hope that helps!

    Blessings,

    Donna

  • Wow..this recipe sounds great.

    I have two questions, though:

How long do I bake it, and at what temp?

    ('m really enjoying your site!)

  • Hi!

I'm sorry - that was in the newsletter when it went out in Dec...so I neglected to even mention it here! Duh.

    Glad you asked.

350 for approx 16-19 minutes. Until golden brown on top and a hollow 'thump' sound when you finger tap the top.

It is SOOOO tasty as French Toast too!

Thank you for your kindness; it's my pleasure to pass these things one!

    Best Blessings!

    Donna
