Patricia Cheesman live in Chiang Mai Studio Naenna Textiles Gallery
For thousands of yeaes without paper technology to record history, materials such as the Cuneiform alphabet on clay tablets, Semitic on sofe limestone, cave painting and of course textiles have been used to illustrate the cultures of the past. Textiles, if you can interpret them, contain symbolism that seem to represent culture, costoms, agriculture, economy, politics and religious beliefs.
To discover the Buddhist mesning represented in Thai textiles, we were proud to have the honour to talk to Khun. Patricia Cheesman founder of Studio-Naenna Textiles Gallery
