A gift for Canada AM, CTV News

Kailee and I wanted to thank you, CTV, and the entire CTV, Canada AM team for graciously offering to have Kailee and I as guests this July 26th, 2011. ( www.ctv.ca/canadaam/ )

As you know, we have been working with Anthony LaMolinara, on an animated video for one of our books called The Thanksgiving Coat. This little book has already inspired coat drives to help needy children in our blisteringly cold Canadian winters.




Anthony, Kailee and myself have all agreed and want to offer to CTV the ability to play this short video on your station this year completely free of charge - no red tape - no small print - no hidden gizmos - no catches - fees or paybacks or anythings - so that together we all can help raise hope and awareness of hidden childhood poverty all across the nation.




Actually it's really our hope that this even spreads further than our nation, there are children in challenging situations ALL across the world and if we can together inspire others to positive proaction it would be a dream come true.  Kailee and I will even offer a discount code on our website and yours too which would enable schools to purchase the book and be able to read it in the classrooms.

My and Kailee's time may be spent in fun doing what we do, but Anthony is a consummate professional.   He won an Oscar for SpiderMan 2 and his work was nominated for Academy Awards for Spider Man, Toy Story and Stuart Little.   The fact that he is willing to do what he has done out of the goodness of his heart to help Kailee, myself and other children speaks volumes to me about who he is as a person.  I would like to thank him for being so gracious and let him know that I look forward to working with him again and again in the future.

CTV and Canada AM,  IF you are willing and like what you see, I am certain that together we can get this message to the children - so if you are willing to broadcast it, we are thrilled to loan it free of charge through the 2011-2012 year. 

And remember - here's the fine print - there IS NO fine print - if you do make any money from this, it would be nice of you to donate a portion of it to a national based children's charity of CTV's Canada AM's choice, but we are not insisting. This is up to you and the hearts of those in charge of your station.   We only ask that if you give a portion, that it is to a national charity since you are a national broadcasting station.

I believe that the greatest asset people have in the world is our children - and I dedicate my life to bringing positive messages to children, both my own and others, to the best of my meager ability and help them build a stronger foundation in every healthy and happy way I am able.
