(Acoustic Cover, Donohoe & Grimes). Jeff Donohoe (Bass/Vocals) and Mike Grimes (Guitar/Vocals). We were playing live at The Lazy Lizard Bar and Grill in Cedar Crest New Mexico, April 3, 2009. There is a lot of crowd noise, but that goes along with the live performance. Our special thanks to the girls playing pool in the background. that really give the place some atmosphere. For those who are not from around here... this little watering hole sits on the east slope of the Sandia mountains.... just up the road from where Old Route 66 (and now I-40) leaves the flats and hills to the east and first enters the mountains of New Mexico. For a lot of Americans alive today, this area was their first view of real mountains as they drove west toward California on that famous old hiway. If you climb up the hill just a bit from here, you can see all the way to west Texas on a clear day, right over the top of Fort Sumner where they buried Billy the Kid... The Pecos river runs across this land on it's way to Texas and Mexico, and the old buffalo wallows can still be seen as low spots to the side of the road... welcome to the Old West!

  • this is so gay

  • @Alqarin I get it... I saw your channel-- "dude!" {o;

  • Where is the flute ? The Rolling Stones -in their arrogance- wont allow original songs to YouTube . Fuck you,Mick, I was decent and purchased your records many times in many formats. Fuck You !

  • @eldorado61guy , Sorry, only 4 hands between the 2 of us; the flute didn't make the cut on this one.... The Eagles are a lot worse...they won't let anybody play their songs on YT, and as you say, we are their biggest promoters and supporters.

  • You guys always do such a great job on the tunes you perform!

  • Thanks!! I notice that you watch the Tal videos with Jeff Beck...What a monster of a player she is eh!! makes me wanna crawl under a rock somewhere--- {0;

    Nice version fella's I really enjoyed it. you've improved on the original chord sequence and you've got a great feel and nice harmonies

    Long may your hearts continue to thump

  • Wow. Sometimes less is more. 1 guitar, 1 bass, 2 voices; it adds up to plenty for a superb cover. Way to go, guys!

  • love your covers man. Sweet.
